Stetson’s strives to provide a safe and fun filled time for our guests. To ensure that we provide a fair service to all our guests such as clean cabins and safe conditions we have policies in effect. We know that some policies may seem like an inconvenience, but we adhere to strict safety, insurance and liability practices. We appreciate the commitment of our guests in following our policies so that all guests have a wonderful time at Stetson’s.
Advance reservations are preferred. All reservation requests will be based on availability. All charges subject to applicable taxes.
Fishing Trips: Guided fishing trip pricing is for the same two or three persons, fishing from beginning to end. Switch-offs of person(s) is not allowed under any circumstances.
Cancellation of Reservation
We know that situations arise that are beyond our control, but when customers book services, we then ensure that we do not make any reservations that would impact those specific services requested. As a result, we lose the opportunity to book other customers; therefore, cancellations have a direct impact on Stetson’s, other potential customers and Staff such as Guides that are specialized services that require planning and preparation time. Re-booking your Lodging and/or services with another customer is difficult if not impossible on short notice.
As a result, Cancellations of your Reservation(s) will result in you being charged for services booked including but not limited to Cabin rentals, Guides, Rental Boats, Meals and other services applied as follows:
Changes to Reservation
Changes to an existing Reservation that take away, modify, cancel or reduce any service in any manner will be applied in the same way for the same reasons as a Cancellation. Requests to take away, modify, cancel or reduce services will follow the Cancellation of Reservation fee schedule for each specific service changed as follows:
31 days or more cancellation with no charge.
30 days: 100% of the reserved lodging/services amount will be charged.
Check-in time: 3 p.m. Due to our desire to ensure that all cabins meet a high standard of quality, our cleaning staff requires the use of their limited time. We adhere to the check in time. If you arrive early although you cannot access your cabin, please feel free to enjoy some fishing or pool time (if open).
Check-out time: 10 a.m. This will ensure that our staff has the necessary amount of time to thoroughly clean and prepare the cabin for the next guests arriving at Stetson’s. Your help in meeting the check-out time is greatly appreciated.
Occupancy limits: Occupancy limits apply to all units. Due to Fire and Health and Safety requirements we adhere to occupancy limits. When making a reservation we work closely with you to ensure that your occupancy needs are met. Our cabins are designed for specified occupancy limits so that damage does not occur to furniture or other items not designed for becoming an additional bed.
Overnight guests not registered with Stetson’s are not allowed to stay overnight in your cabin. Additional charges will be added to your bill for non-registered guests or over occupancy.
No smoking is allowed in any building on Stetson’s property. All smoking is outside of the Cabins, Lodge and Pool areas. Smoking receptacles are provided at the cabins and other various areas for your convenience in disposing of cigarette butts and assisting in a clean environment for all guests. Please note that ALL Cabins are non-smoking.
Cleanup fee for smoking in Cabins is $250. Once Cleaning Staff notifies the Office that smoking in a Cabin has occurred, the cleaning fee of $250 will be charged to the credit card on file immediately.
Small dogs, 20 pounds or less, allowed with a $25 per pet per day charge (damages extra). Limit 2.
No other pets or animals of any kind are allowed including but not limited to birds, cats, reptiles, insects and/or snakes nor are they allowed on Stetson's property at any time or under any circumstance.
We ensure when taking your Reservation to ask about dogs to include the number of dogs and their weight. Violation of the Pet policy could prevent your checking in. Since we held your reservation and could not rent to other customers, 100 percent of your remaining balance will be charged. No refunds will be given.
We require a two-night minimum stay on all weekends. A three-night minimum stay is required on all major Holiday weekends.
Guarantees on all services are required.
