Are pets allowed?

Yes.  Small dogs, 20 pounds or less, are allowed with a $25 per pet per day charge (damages extra). Limit of 2 dogs.  No other pets or animals of any kind are allowed including but not limited to birds, cats, reptiles, insects and/or snakes nor are they allowed on Stetson's property at any time or under any circumstance.  

We ensure when taking your Reservation to ask about dogs to include the number of dogs and their weight.  Violation of the Pet policy could prevent your checking in.  Since we held your reservation and could not rent to other customers, 100 percent of your remaining balance will be charged.  No refunds will be given.

Can I bring my own boat?

Yes.  The Dock/ramp opens at 7 am and closes at 5 pm. However; please note that Winter hours may apply and that means the Dock/ramp hours are from 8 am to 4 pm.  The Dock/ramp will close at 4 pm.  You will need to check with the Office to determine what hours apply.  There is no Dock or tie up space available for rent or usage.

Can I store my boat at the dock?

No.  We reserve the Dock space for our Guide boats and rental boats.   Please note that when bringing your own boat, there is parking space for registered guests for boats on trailers.  Boats are not permitted to be tied to the dock or any Stetson’s property such as trees or fences with no exceptions so as to not damage property.  The river generation levels are not controlled by Stetson’s or any other Resort on the White River.  We do not know when or if water generation will occur or how much. 

Can I rent a boat?

Yes.  Stetson’s provides rental boats for registered guests of Stetson’s only.  Rental hours are from 7 am to 5 pm daily.  The Dock/ramp closes at 5 pm and all rental boats are to be returned to the Dock prior to 5 pm.

         **Winter hours are 8 am to 4 pm with the Dock/ramp closing at 4 pm.  You will need to check with the Office to determine what hours apply.

We suggest reserving a boat for rent when making your reservation.  Unlike other resorts, we charge a flat fee for half day or full day rentals that include gas, personal flotation devices and seats in the fee.  We do charge a late fee for any rental boat returned after Dock/ramp closing times.  A maximum of 4 persons only are allowed in the boat at one time. We do not provide anchors or drag chains.  

Prior to leaving the dock, you will have a Stetson's staff member look over the boat with you.  Any damage which occurs while the boat or included property is in the renter's possesion, no matter how slight is the responsibility of the person renting the boat.  A sunk boat/motor will result in a non-refundabe fee of $1000.  The replacement cost of the Boat and/or any property lost will be charged to the renting person; in addition to the recovery fee of $1000.

Is smoking allowed in the cabins, Lodge or pool area?

No.  No smoking is allowed in any building on Stetson’s property.  All smoking is outside of the Cabins, Lodge and Pool areas.   Smoking receptacles are provided at the Cabins and other various areas for your convenience in disposing of cigarette butts and assisting in a clean environment for all guests. 

Cleanup fee for smoking in Cabins is $250.  Once Cleaning Staff notifies the Office that smoking in a Cabin has occurred, the cleaning fee of $250 will be charged to the credit card on file immediately.

What are the boat dock and launch ramp hours?

Our hours of operation for the dock and launch ramp are 7 am to 5 pm daily.  Winter hours the dock and ramp are open from 8 am to 4 pm daily.   

Due to insurance and liability reasons we lock the dock and ramp at 5 pm in non-winter hours and lock the dock/ramp at 4 pm during winter hours.  If you plan to be on the river past the 5 pm or 4 pm hours, the White Hole public access is about 1.5 miles from Stetson’s.  We know this may seem like an inconvenience, but we require rental boats to be returned to the Dock prior to 5 pm or 4 pm when applicable and we strive to be fair to those renting boats by closing the Dock and Ramp at the required hours for all parties.

Is there a pool at Stetson's?

Yes.  Our pool is open seasonally and is located right alongside of the beautiful White River.  Our pool opens generally around Memorial Day weekend and closes the end of September. Due to weather considerations in the area, we do not provide date specific opening or closing of the pool season.  Hours for pool use when open are from 9 am to 8 pm.  No lifeguard is on duty so please observe pool rules.  Dogs are not permitted in the pool area for health reasons.  The Pool area is non-smoking and includes no alcoholic beverages and no audio equipment of any kind (music).

Do you provide meals or have a restaurant?

We provide meals for groups of 8 or more persons in our Lodge.  When making reservations for a group of 8 or more we can provide the menu items available as well as costs. If you do not have eight or more in your party you can ask if we are preparing meals for a group and if we are, you can ask to be included.  We have space available for you to have your meal separately from the group of eight or more.  We do require a minimum of 1 weeks’ notice to include you due to the fact that we order our food just prior to making meals to ensure the quality of the food we provide.

What are your cancellation policies?

Cancellation of Reservation

We know that situations arise that are beyond our control, but when customers book services, we then ensure that we do not make any reservations that would impact those specific services requested.  As a result, we lose the opportunity to book other customers; therefore, cancellations have a direct impact on Stetson’s, other potential customers and Staff such as Guides that are specialized services that require planning and preparation time.  Re-booking your Lodging and/or services with another customer is difficult if not impossible on short notice.

As a result, Cancellations of your Reservation(s) will result in you being charged for services booked including but not limited to Cabin rentals, Guides, Rental Boats, Meals and other services applied as follows:

·       31 days or more cancellation with no charge.

·       15 days to 30 days:  50% of the reserved lodging/services amount will be charged.

·       14 days or less:  100% of the reserved lodging/services amount will be charged.

Changes to Reservation

Changes to an existing Reservation that take away, modify, cancel or reduce any service in any manner will be applied in the same way for the same reasons as a Cancellation.  Requests to take away,modify, cancel or reduce services will follow the Cancellation of Reservation fee schedule for each specific service changed as follows:

·       31 days or more cancellation with no charge.

·       15 days to 30 days:  50% of the reserved services amount will be charged.

·       14 days or less:  100% of the reserved services amount will be charged.

Do you provide guided fishing trips?

Yes.  Whether spin casting or fly fishing, experience the best trout fishing on the White River with one of our renowned expert guides.  Our guided trips provide the avid fisherman, family, corporate, young adult or child with a great time!  Our guides have lifetimes of fishing experience on the White River.  Drift fishing or anchored, their expertise ensures that the most experienced fisherman to the first time fisherman enjoy the thrill of fishing for the best trout anywhere!  Bring your rod, reel, and tackle box (or use ours for a small fee).  Bait and tackle used for catching trout on the White River is available through our Gift Shop.

Guided fishing trip pricing is for the same two or three persons, fishing from beginning to end. Switch-offs of person(s) is not allowed under any circumstances.

What is check-in time?

Check-in time is no earlier than 3 p.m. of your scheduled arrival date.  Due to our desire to ensure that all cabins meet a high standard of quality our cleaning staff requires the use of their limited time.  We adhere to the check in time.  If you arrive early although you cannot access your cabin, please feel free to enjoy some fishing or pool time (if open).

What is check-out time?

Check-out time: 10 a.m.  This will ensure that our staff has the necessary amount of time to thoroughly clean and prepare the cabin for the next guests arriving at Stetson’s. Your help in meeting the check-out time is greatly appreciated.

Are there occupancy limits to the number of persons in a cabin?

Yes.  Occupancy limits apply to all units.  Due to Fire and Health and Safety requirements we adhere to occupancy limits.  When making a reservation we work closely with you to ensure that your occupancy needs are met.  Our cabins are designed for specified occupancy limits so that damage does not occur to furniture or other items not designed for becoming an additional bed.

Overnight guests not registered with Stetson’s are not allowed to stay overnight in your cabin.  Additional charges will be added to your bill for non-registered guests or over occupancy.  Damage fees will be charged at time of replacement.
Can I pay with check, cash, credit or debit cards?

Yes.  We accept personal or business checks, Cash, Traveler’s  Cheques and Major Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express).  Please note that a small credit card/debit card processing fee applies to the use of ANY credit/debit card.

What are your minimum stay requirements?

We require a two-night minimum stay on all weekends. For major holiday weekends we require a three-night minimum stay.  We do not split weekends.

What do I need to bring for my stay at Stetson's?

Set just 45 yards from the White River, Stetson’s on the White Resort provides the finest in log cabin vacation rentals for the individual, families or large groups.  Each cabin is fully furnished and offers a river view, large deck, range/oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, dishes, cooking and eating utensils, ceiling fans, television/satellite, outdoor grill, central air/heat, fireplace (most cabins, fireplace use is seasonal), linens, towels, pool towels and some toiletries.  You need to bring food or food items, paper towels, charcoal, lighter fluid and your personal preference items.

What services are nearby if I need to shop for food, items or want to eat out?

There are several stores close by in Flippin and Bull Shoals for groceries, clothing and other such items.  Mountain Home also provides many stores for your needs as well.

These same cities provide many fine restaurants for your dining needs if not cooking or grilling at your cabin.  Ask our staff for recommendations if you have a desire for a specific type of meal. 

Do you have availability for Company Events, Retreats, Conferences and Family Reunions?
