Hello all.  June and July have turned out to be beautiful here at Steton"s.  Water levels are great, fishing is fantastic and the weather is cooperating with nice sunny and warm days.  Pool activity has been busy with air temps allowing for some great poolside hanging out.  Browns are biting well with a 17 pound and an 8 pound both caught from the bank.  Guides have been treating customers to some great fishing up and down the river.  The Fourth of July activities with local city fireworks contributed to a good time.  Although we do not allow fireworks on premise due to fire hazards, local cities put on quite a display.  So, if you are still trying to decide on summer places to go, consider Stetson's.

NOTE:  Due to rain on the 4th of July, City of Bull Shoals firworks display was postponed until September 4th, on Labor Day weekend.

We encourage potential customers to always review our Policies pages as there is very important imformation about staying at Stetson's.  There are several policies that are important to note.  Our Guides that work for Stetson's depend on our customers for guide trips.  As in any business, Staff and their families always depend on our customers for earning their incomes, by taking guided trips.  So, we do require that any Guests staying at Stetson's use our Guides and staying here and using outside Guides is not allowed.  Our Guides are professional and have been guiding on the White River their lives.

FISHING LICENSES:  State of Arkansas implemented new methods for obtaining your fishing licenses when visiting the White River.  We at Stetson's no longer have the ability to get your license at the Resort.  In advance, you can get your fishing license by:

1.  Going online to agfc.com and following their directions.

2.  For Smart phones, you can get an app that is agfcapp.

Lots has gone on over the last several months here at the Resort.  Brenda, Charles and Staff have been very busy with several new projects.  There has been a huge amount of new parking added by all of the Cabins that looks and works great!  This has given Customers better parking and is helping to keep the Resort looking good.  One of the neatest projects was the complete replacing of all Cabin mattresses with brand new ones!  Customer reviews have been fantastic!  The hardest project but one that has added great beauty and great access to the River has been the cross-tie stairs project from the Cabin areas to the River.  From the River the view of the property is exceptional.  The rest is a secret until you COME check it out!!!  Hope to see you soon.

Well, 2017 has been an interesting year on the River.   A lot of rain this year in the mid-west brought lake levels up in the region.  However, we here at Stetson's have not been impacted by the high water.  Fishing has been incredible according to Guides and Customers.  Although the river has been running high at about 9 units, lots of oxygen and food for the trout have kept them really happy and biting well!!!  The Resort is in fantastic shape and we hope that all of our customers and even new customers will come on down or up to the Resort and have a great time on the River.
